Vande Bharat Metro train’s trial conducted on Ahmedabad – Bhuj route

Ahmedabad: During the trial run of Ahmedabad – Bhuj Vande Bharat Metro Express today, the yet-to-be-launched train reached Ahmedabad to Gandhidham in four hours and Gandhidham to Bhuj in single hour.

The train’s speed during trial was upto 110 km according to Gandhidham’s Chief Loco Inspector RB Kashyap. Fast trains generally take 6.30 hours to travel between Ahmedabad and Bhuj. In compared to this, the Vande Bharat Metro train during its trial took about one and half hour lesser time. The Vande Bharat Metro is Air Conditioned(AC) train will automataic doors, LED display, toilet, digital route indicator, panaromic windows, CCTV, phone charging facility etc.

The trial run on this route doesn’t confirm that the train will be introduced on this route only. Vande Bahrat Metro’s rake had arrived at Sabarmati railway station in Ahmedabad in the first half of August this year. There’s no word yet about launch of this train for passengers.
