Orange alert for these parts of Gujarat till Sunday morning; here’s IMD forecast

Surat: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest forecast has issued an orange alert for some parts of Gujarat until Sunday morning. After that, the rainfall is likely to subside in the state, with only light to moderate precipitation expected over the next week.
According to the IMD bulletin, Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Amreli, and Bhavnagar have been put on orange alert as they are expected to receive heavy to very heavy rains. Meanwhile, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Vadodara, Chhotaudepur, Bharuch, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, and in Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Botad, and Diu are under a yellow warning as they may experience heavy rains until 8:30 AM on Sunday morning.
After that, until 08:30 IST on October 5, 2024, parts of Gujarat are likely to receive only light to moderate rain. DeshGujarat
