Punitnagar Railway Crossing to be closed from Oct 18-28 for bullet train work

Ahemdabad: Under the ongoing bullet train project, bullet train pillars were earlier erected at the Punitnagar railway crossing in the Isanpur to Vatwa GIDC section. Now, the work of placing segments on the pillars will be carried out by Dineshchandra R. Agarwal Company. As a result, Punitnagar Railway Crossing will be closed for vehicular traffic from 18/10/2024 to 28/10/2024.
Traffic will be diverted as per the following details during this period:
1. Traffic from Vatwa GIDC coming via Bombay Conductor Road can take Teen Rasta, turn right at Jashodanagar party plot Char Rasta (Old Rabari Colony), then turn left at Jashodanagar Patiya, and use the Jashodanagar flyover to move towards Hatkeswar via alternate routes.
2. Traffic from Jashodanagar Patiya can use the service road on the left side of the bridge, continue through Jashodanagar Char Rasta and Ghodasar Char Rasta, and follow the route past Smriti Mandir police post, Rays Dycket Club, to proceed towards Punitnagar via alternate routes.
3. Traffic from Vatwa, Isanpur, and Durganagar GIDC can use the Narol-Vatwa flyover via Sadbhavana police post to go towards Vatwa GIDC and access the main roads via alternate routes. DeshGujarat
