Raju Solanki’s wife, aide arrested under GujCTOC in Junagadh

Junagadh: Junagadh Police has arrested Hansaben Solanki, wife of Raju Solanki, under the Gujarat Control of Terrorism and Organised Crime Act (GujCTOC). Hanseben’s husband and son were arrested under GujCTOC about two and a half months ago. Hansaben has become the first woman in Junagadh district at least to be arrested under GujCTOC. Police have also arrested Raju Soalnki’s aide, Nasruddin, alias Nashro Dado, who belongs to the Sidi community.
Police had on 3rd August arrested Raju Solanki, his brother Jayesh Soanki, Raju’s sons Dev and Sanjay alias Chandu Solanki, and Yogesh Kala under GujCTOC. They are all in jail at present.
On Sunday, police also arrested Rajul’s wife Hansa and Nasruddin over an offense of mineral theft from Kalva channel in Junagadh. This offense was registered in the A division police station of Junagadh. Earlier, Nasruddin was also involved in the Majevadi murder case. Police found a sharp weapon in Nasruddin’s possession. Raju Solanki gang members have been booked in the past for organized crime, murder attempts, extortion, loot, theft, kidnapping, arms act, casusing injury, damaging properties, obstruction police on duty, and more.
