October 22, 2024
Ahmedabad: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will be implementing the winter schedule for the airlines, and with this, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport will gain connectivity to many cities. The already announced flights include direct connections to Keshod, Thiruvananthapuram, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, and Kolhapur within the country, while the city will also see new flights for international destinations like Kuwait, Bangkok, and Da Nang (Vietnam).
There are also reports that the city will get direct connections to Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir and Muscat, the capital city of Oman. These new routes are part of a broader initiative to enhance airport services and increase flight frequencies to existing destinations. The details about these additional flights will likely be released with the announcement of the winter schedule. DeshGujarat
