PM Modi, Spanish PM Sanchez hold roadshow in Vadodara

Vadodara: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez held a roadshow in Vadodara. The 2.8 km route began at Airport Circle and ended at the Tata Airbus assembly plant, which the two leaders inaugurated. Several stages were erected along the route, where traditional and folk performances entertained onlookers as the convoy of both Prime Ministers passed by. The Prime Ministers traveled in a specially designed and decorated open jeep for this ‘Shobha Yatra.’ Many factories declared a holiday to allow people to witness the roadshow and welcome the leaders to the city.

Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez, accompanied by his spouse Begoña Gómez, arrived in Vadodara early this morning at around 1:30 a.m. After the roadshow, Sánchez, along with Prime Minister Modi, will inaugurate the Final Assembly Line Plant for C295 aircraft in Vadodara, established by Tata Advanced Systems in collaboration with Airbus Spain. Following this, both leaders will proceed to the Laxmi Vilas Palace for a meeting and luncheon at the palace’s Eugene Hall.
