Ahmedabad: The ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has won the by-polls for vacant municipal corporation seats in Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, and Surat.

The party secured victory in Ward No. 7 in Ghatlodia of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, with its candidate Pravin Patel securing 22,353 votes, while the Congress party and other candidates lost their deposits.

In Bhavnagar Civic Body, BJP candidate Amarshibhai Dulabhai Chudasama emerged victorious in Ward No. 3 in Vadva-B. Meanwhile, Jitubhai Mapabhai Kachhad secured a win for the party in Ward No. 18 in Limbayat-Parvat-Kumbharia of Surat Municipal Corporation. DeshGujarat
