GSRTC plans to operate 250 additional buses for Gujarat Board Exams 2025

Surat: Minister of State for Home and Transport, Harsh Sanghavi, today announced that the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) plans to operate 250 additional buses during the upcoming board exams. As of now, GSRTC has received requests for 85 extra buses and will accommodate further requests if received.

The MoS Home took to X (formerly Twitter) to make this announcement and said: Regarding the board exams of classes 10 and 12 to be held in the state from 27/02/2025 to 10/03/2025, ST Corporation has planned to provide additional bus facilities for students as per the requirement.

– ST Corporation has planned to run an additional 250 trips in addition to the existing regular services, as per the students’ requirements, like every year.

-Currently, a demand has been received from the respective district administrations to operate 85 extra buses. If further demand arises, additional buses will be deployed accordingly.

– ST Corporation has issued urgent instructions to all district-level departments to prioritize examinees, operate extra buses, and ensure buses run on time so that students do not face any issues during the exams.
