10 get life term in Pankaj Trivedi murder case

Ahmedabad: Sessions court here has ordered life term to 10 convicts who murdered Pankaj Trivedi in June 2006 outside Ellisbridge Gymkhana in Ahmedabad. Trivedi was a whistleblower who exposed series of scandles of Swadhyay Parivar chief Jayshri Didi. Once an active follower of Swadhyay Parivar for three decades, Trivedi had in early 2000s raised number of issues pertaining to irregularities in Swadhyay Parivar, especially under Jayshri Didi. Trivedi was brutally murdered on 15 June 2006. After around 16 years, the court has given life term to ten accused namely Chandrasinh Jadeja, Hiteshsinh Chudasama, Dakshesh Shah, Bhupatsinh Jadeja, Mansinh Vadher, Ghanshyamsinh Chudasama, Bharatbhai Tate, Bharatsinh Jadeja, Chandrakant Daki and Jashu Jadeja.
