11 miscreants held for vandalizing vehicles, attacking residents in Vastral after videos go viral

Ahmedabad: The Vastral area witnessed chaos last night as a group of miscreants went on a rampage near Shashvat 2 Society, damaging multiple vehicles. CCTV footage captured 15 to 20 individuals involved in the destruction.
The group attacked residents, resulting in injuries and hospitalizations, vandalized parked vehicles, and damaged scooters, cars, and shops before fleeing the scene. While the motive remains unclear, the incident has left locals shaken and concerned for their safety.
Meanwhile, in a swift response, the city police carried out an overnight combing operation and detained 11 miscreants involved in the violence. When the accused attempted to flee, they were chased down, apprehended, and taken to the police station. It has also been learned that Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi, was in constant contact with Ahmedabad police throughout the night, closely monitoring the entire operation.
During the chaos, two pedestrians were attacked with swords, sustaining injuries. One of the victims, a car driver, suffered serious head wounds after being struck with a sword. Further details are likely to emerge soon as the police continue their investigation and review CCTV footage. DeshGujarat
