Vadodara: A tragic accident occurred in Por village of Vadodara district when an Ertiga car carrying a family from Surat veered off the highway and crashed into a tree. Three people died on the spot, while five others sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The fire department and police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the accident and carried out further rescue operations. Firefighters had to cut parts of the vehicle to extricate the deceased.

The victims, originally from Mehsana and residing in Dindoli, Surat, were returning from a visit to Pavagadh when the accident took place. Five of the injured have been shifted to Vadodara’s Sayaji Hospital for further treatment.

The injured victims include Vinay Jagdishbhai Patel (32), residing near Umiya Mata Mandir, Dindoli, Surat, along with Chirag Sureshbhai Patel, Jagdishbhai Patel, Dhruv Dharmeshbhai Patel, and Niranjan Jagdishbhai Patel. All have been shifted to the hospital for treatment. DeshGujarat
