Mercury soars! 7 Gujarat cities among India’s top 10 hottest places on April 1

Ahmedabad: Seven out of the top 10 hottest locations in India on April 1, 2025, were from Gujarat, with Surendranagar recording the highest temperature at 42.3°C. Rajkot followed closely at 42.2°C, while Mahuva recorded 41.8°C.
Other Gujarat locations in the list include Bhuj-Rudramata (41.3°C), Amreli (40.9°C), Ahmedabad (40.8°C), and Deesa (40.7°C). Adilabad (41.3°C) and Nizamabad (41.2°C) in Telangana, along with Gulbarga (40.6°C) in Karnataka, were the only non-Gujarat entries in the top 10.
