Surat the fourth fastest growing city in the world, says a survey

The city of Surat will be the fourth fastest growing cities in the world by year 2020 as per the research report published by World Mayors Organization(WMO) on CityMayors.Com website. As per the WMO survey and study China’s Behai is on first rank with 10.58% yearly growth while India’s Gaziabad is on 2nd rank with 5.20% annual growth rate. Yemen’s Shanaz city is on third rank with 5.00% growth while Surat is just 0.1% behind on fourth rank with 4.99% annual growth rate.

In a list of 100 fastest developing cities, India’s Faridabad is on 8th rank, other cities and their ranks are Nasic(16), Patna(21), Rajkot(22), Jaipur(24), Delhi(28), Pune(29), Indore(32), Asansol(42), Agra(53), Amritsar(6), Merut(63), Bangalore(67), Ahmedabad(73), Lucknow(74), Bhopal(77), Ludhiana(80), Jamshedpur(84), Vadodara(86), Kanpur(88), Shrinagar(92), Coimbatore(93) and Dhanbad(96).
