Dwarka: The main door sanctum sanctorum of the Jagat Mandir, of Lord Dwarkadhish in temple town Dwarka, has been plated with 24-karat gold. A devotee from Gandhinagar undertook the gold plating to fulfill the wish of his mother.
Speaking to the media, the priest of Jagat Mandir said, “A staunch devotee of Bhagwan Dwarkadhish, Ravindrabhai Chotala Trivedi, owner of RB Minerals and a resident of Randheja, Gandhinagar, decided to fulfill his mother’s wish to plate the existing silver door with pure 24-karat gold. After offering prayers at the temple and receiving approval from the temple committee, the work was carried out and hence the doors inside the Jagat Mandir’s sanctum are now adorned with gold.
The plating of gold on the door adds to the spiritual grandeur of the revered temple. DeshGujarat
