Vadodara: An 11-year-old boy, Naksh Soni, tragically lost his life due to electrocution on Tuesday evening after a live power cable reportedly fell into a water puddle near the Radhe Krishna Society, Gujarat Housing Board area in Padra town.
Naksh was riding his bicycle to tuition classes through the puddle when he was fatally electrocuted. “I was walking by and suddenly felt a jolt of electricity. I quickly stepped back and saw the boy approaching the puddle. I tried to warn him, but he didn’t hear me and rode straight into it,” said a local resident.
The power cable is suspected to have snapped from an overhead line and landed in the puddle, charging the water with electricity. DeshGujarat
