Vadodara police book six ‘Chui’ gang members under GujCTOC Act

Vadodara: The Local Crime Branch has invoked the Gujarat Control of Terrorism and Organised Crime (GujCTOC) Act against the notorious ‘Chui’ gang and arrested six of its members, while one is still on the run.
As per the police, the gang is linked to a string of serious offences, including murder, attempted murder, issuing threats, and multiple violations under the Prohibition Act. In total, there are over 128 criminal cases against these gang members, and some of them were nabbed earlier under the Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act (PASA).
The arrested individuals of the gang are Suraj Kahar, Krunal Kahar, Deepak Kahar, Parth Brahbhatt, Pradeep Thakkar, and Ravi Maachi, while Arun Maachi remains absconding.
This is the fourth gang in Vadodara to face charges under the GujCTOC Act. DeshGujarat
