Dev City Lake in Chandlodiya to get ₹5.34-crore makeover by AMC

Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has approved a project for the development of Dev City Lake, located in the Chandlodiya ward of the North-West Zone. The project, aimed at enhancing urban water bodies and public spaces, has an estimated cost of ₹5.34 crore.
After evaluating tenders, the contract has been awarded to S.G. Bhagwan at a tender cost of ₹4.27 crore, which is 8.15% higher than the estimated cost.
According to AMC officials, the project includes the construction of a walkway, protection wall, underground water tank, toilet block, and a stormwater line to channel rainwater from surrounding areas into the lake. In addition, the work will cover civil structures, landscaping, plantation, and electrical installations to improve the overall aesthetics and functionality of the lake area. DeshGujarat
