River drive West road at Sabarmati Riverfront Ahmedabad to shut for traffic for 8 hours on Monday, November10

Ahmedabad, November 8: The Ahmedabad City Police have announced traffic restrictions in view of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Rally scheduled to take place on November 10 near Vallabh Sadan at Sabarmati Riverfront (West). The decision has been taken to ensure smooth traffic management and public safety during the large-scale gathering expected in the area.
In a notification issued by In-Charge Police Commissioner Sharad Singhal, IPS, it was stated that under Section 33(1)(b)(c) of the Gujarat Police Act, traffic movement on certain routes will be temporarily restricted or diverted.
Traffic Restrictions:
Date of restriction: November 10, 2025
Affected route: From Vadaj Crossroads to the West-side Sabarmati Riverfront up to Ambedkar bridge, both side roads.
Restriction type: Vehicular movement, including heavy and light vehicles, will be prohibited on this route during the event period.
Alternate Routes:
Vehicles should take the Vadaj Smashan Gruh cut to Vadaj circle to Usmanpura char rasta to Incometax overbridge middle portion to Bata Show room to Delight char rasta to Townhall and Anjali char rasta route as an alternative. Traffic police will be deployed along diversion points to guide commuters.
Advisory:
Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and use alternative roads to avoid congestion. Emergency vehicles and essential services will be allowed through designated routes.
