Drunk Woman Attacks Rapido Rider in Vadodara; Held by Police

Vadodara:A woman in an intoxicated state allegedly attacked a Rapido bike taxi rider and behaved inappropriately late Saturday night in Vadodara. Following a call to emergency services, the police detained and later arrested the woman, who is originally from West Bengal.
According to the complaint, the woman had booked a Rapido bike from the Diwalipura Sindhi Market area. When the rider, identified as Sanjay Chavda, arrived to pick her up and asked her to sit properly on the bike, she reportedly attacked him while under the influence of alcohol.
Shocked by her behaviour, Sanjay immediately dialed 112 and sought assistance. A police team reached the spot and escorted the woman to Gotri Police Station for questioning.
Police later identified her as Gudiya Khatun, also known as Afreen Mohammad Masar Alam, a resident of Hariharpur in West Bengal. A case under the Prohibition Act was registered, and she was placed under arrest.
