Ahmedabad: In a major operation in the East Zone, the Estate and Urban Development Department of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation carried out the demolition of around 100 residential and 5 commercial structures in T.P. Scheme No. 25 (Khokhra-Mehmedabad), Bhaipura Hatkeshwar Ward. The demolition took place along the road passing through Radhakrishna Park Society near Ishwar Krupa Society.

The operation involved staff from the Estate Department, Khokhra Police Station, private laborers, and heavy machinery, including JCBs and breaker machines. Following the demolition, the 12-meter-wide T.P. road has been cleared and opened for public traffic.

Authorities have stated that the process of clearing the remaining structures and removing obstructions on the road will continue tomorrow. DeshGujarat
