“They were doing Aarti,Yagya to prevent rain in Gujarat this monsoon” (Video)

Ahmedabad, 3 September, 2011

You will surely say it’s a coincidence, but Gujarat the state that used to witness drought once in every three years has not seen any bad year during the Narendra Modi regime in last 11 years. This is one of the very important factors in favor of Mr. Modi and his regime.

This year, initially it was looking like a delayed rain situation in the state and based on this, most of the experts expressed serious doubts about good prospects of monsoon.

But finally rain arrived, and it continued its spell superbly throughout the season.

In view of this, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in his recent speech at Tarnetar fair, without naming Congress party said something that was very interesting.

Shri Modi said:“Rain God has blessed us this time. Otherwise in the months of May and June some people were clapping, thinking that now see what happens to Modi. Now as rain has stopped, let’s see what happens to Modi. They were distributing sweets, doing aarti, firing diva, dhoop and doing yagna wishing that rain should not fall. They were wishing trouble for Modi, they were wishing for water scarcity, they were in movement-like-mood for this.”

“And when rain was little bit delayed this monsoon, they were feeling so happy believing that now Modi will be finished”.

“But they were not knowing that the wishes of six crore people are so strong that Megh raja (God of rain) would listen to the people.”

“And rain arrived, wherever it was needed, whenever it was needed, and in whatever amount it was needed.”

“As God has blessed us, the farmers are all set to yield Gold in their farms this year.”

“Not only the farms are green, but reservoirs are also full.”

“Generally it happens that too much rain harms us, and water is wasted to sea, but this year it’s moderate rain. It is like God’s own drip irrigation system working. The rain has not harmed any area this season.”

“In last 60 days, as many as 50 days are such that at some place other, notable rain has been witnessed.”

“If farmer is happy, village is happy, Gujarat is poised to be happy.”
