Road from Ankur to Pallav Crossroads Renamed ‘JITO Ahmedabad Marg’

Ahmedabad: The road stretching from Ankur Crossroads to Pallav Crossroads was officially named “JITO Ahmedabad Marg” on Tuesday, creating a new civic landmark for the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) and the city. The street was inaugurated by Mayor Pratibha Jain in the presence of community members.

JITO chairman Rajiv Chhajer said, “JITO Ahmedabad will ensure the newly named road is developed beautifully,” with planned upgrades including CCTV installation and enhanced civic amenities. JITO chief secretary Janik Vakil added, “The organisation will also work towards supporting the businesses of small vendors and hawkers along the road.”

The event was attended by senior JITO leaders, including former apex chairman Ganpatraj Chaudhary, apex vice-chairman Himanshu Shah, Gujarat zone chairman Sanjeev Chhajer, more than 300 JITO members, AMC officials, and local residents.
