Narmada AAP Chief Booked for Threatening Trader

Narmada: District AAP president Niranjan Vasava has been booked by local police for alleged criminal breach of trust and criminal intimidation, following claims that he threatened a merchant over an unpaid amount of Rs 1.86 lakh.
According to the FIR lodged on Wednesday at Rajpipla police station, Niranjan allegedly threatened Manish Vasava, a driver who had been hired in 2023 to install paver blocks in Niranjan’s village of Kuvarpara. The complaint states that Niranjan had promised to pay Manish the outstanding sum within six months.
When the payment allegedly remained pending, a dispute arose between the two. Manish claimed that upon calling Niranjan to request the pending payment, he was verbally abused and threatened with serious consequences.
Niranjan has been booked under the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023, including sections BNS 316(2), 351(3), and 352. DeshGujarat
