Amit Shah to be on three-day Gujarat visit; to join Uttarayan celebrations in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi concludes his visit to his home state of Gujarat, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is set to begin a three-day visit to the state from Tuesday, January 13. During his visit, Shah will attend multiple public programmes across Gujarat and participate in Uttarayan celebrations in Ahmedabad.

On January 13, Shah will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several development projects. His schedule includes the inauguration of a newly built sports complex and various development works at SD Arts and BR Commerce College in his hometown of Mansa at 10:15 am.

This will be followed by the foundation-laying ceremony of a Biotechnology Research Centre (BSL-4 laboratory) under the Gujarat government’s Science and Technology Department at Pethapur in Gandhinagar at 11:45 am. At 2:15 pm, Shah will lay the foundation stone for the Global Excellence Pharmaceutical Academy at Sanathal near Ahmedabad.
