Minimum temperatures above normal across Gujarat; Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara near 19°C

Gandhinagar: Night temperatures across Gujarat remained on the higher side on Monday night, with the mercury hovering close to 19 degrees Celsius in many cities, indicating milder winter conditions across the state, according to the latest morning weather observations by the India Meteorological Department this morning.
Key urban centres in the state, including Ahmedabad (19.2°C), Vadodara (19.8°C), Bhavnagar (19.2°C) and Surat (19.0°C), along with neighbouring Union Territories Daman (19.6°C) and Diu (19.2°C), reported minimum temperatures around the 19°C mark, significantly above normal levels in several locations.
Coastal parts of the state continued to experience warmer nights, with Veraval recording the highest minimum temperature at 21.3°C, about 5.1 degrees above normal. Elevated night temperatures were also observed in Ahmedabad and Vadodara, both recording departures of more than 5 degrees above normal.
In contrast, relatively cooler conditions prevailed in parts of Saurashtra-Kutch and north Gujarat. Naliya recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 12.0°C, followed by Rajkot (15.4°C), Bhuj (15.8°C) and Deesa (15.9°C). However, even these stations reported temperatures above their seasonal averages.
Day temperatures remained moderate to warm across the state, with maximum temperatures ranging between 30°C and 34°C, and no rainfall was reported at any station. DeshGujarat
