ISRO’s commercial arm NSIL opens new office at GIFT City, Gujarat

Gandhinagar: NewSpace India Ltd. (NSIL) inaugurated its new office at GIFT House in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, on February 12, 2026. The office was inaugurated in the presence of senior officials from ISRO, GIFT City, and NSIL.
The event marked an important milestone for the company. The Gujarat office was formally inaugurated by M. Mohan, CMD of NSIL and Director of the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), ISRO, in the presence of Nilesh M. Desai, Director of the Space Applications Centre, ISRO. Praveen Trivedi, Executive Director of IFSCA; Avichal Khera, Chief Business Operations Officer of GIFT City; and other senior dignitaries were also present at the ceremony.
NSIL is mandated to commercialise technologies developed by ISRO in the fields of launch services, satellite services, and ground segments, while also promoting Indian industry participation. The NSIL Gujarat office is expected to play a significant role in facilitating collaboration with international customers in launch and satellite services, as well as mission support activities.
On this occasion, NSIL also signed its first commercial agreement from the new office premises with GalaxEye for the resale of satellite data and value-added solutions.
