Gujarat govt spent Rs. 30 crore on aircraft and helicopter in 9 months

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has incurred an expenditure of ₹29.84 crore as of December 31, 2025, towards the operation, maintenance, repair and servicing of aircraft and helicopters under its control, the Assembly was informed.
The spending forms part of the ₹37.96 crore allocation made in the 2025–26 state budget for the upkeep and operational requirements of the government’s aviation fleet, which includes official aircraft and helicopters used for administrative and emergency purposes.
Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, who also holds the Civil Aviation portfolio, shared the details in response to a question raised by MLA Amritji Motiji Thakor.
