Re-Investigation Ordered in IKDRC Equipment Purchase: Govt

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government informed the Assembly that a re-investigation has been ordered into the alleged irregularities in the purchase of equipment at the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre (IKDRC), Ahmedabad Civil Medicity. A preliminary report has already been submitted in the case.
According to a written reply by the Minister of State for Health, the hospital director had ordered a re-investigation into the alleged scam related to the procurement of dialysis equipment at IKDRC.
The government said the Health and Family Welfare Department, Gandhinagar, formed an inquiry committee on 25 April 2025 to conduct the investigation.
The committee submitted a preliminary report on 3 September 2025, after which the department asked it to submit a detailed report after further examination.
The government informed that the final report will be submitted after completion of the detailed inquiry. DeshGujarat
