Like every year, Gandhinagar based Swaminarayan Akshardham will celebrate Diwali with thousands of diyas. During Diwali and new year, when thousands of diyas are kindled in Akshardham, it seems as if the stars appeared on earth.

Visitors can enjoy this festival of lights from Diwali, 26 October 2011 Wednesday to Labh Panchamai, 31 October 2011 Monday between 6.00 to 7.45 pm.

Swaminarayan Akshardham will remain open on Monday, 31 October 2011.
