Here is the video of newly launched desert safari at Kankaria lake front in Ahmedabad.

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched this attraction at Kankaria lake front yesterday on the occasion of Kankaria carnival.

Though Kankaria carnival will end on 31 December, the desert safari will continue to engage the visitors on permanent basis at same place.

To ride a special gear-less four-wheeler over the desert safari track, you need to have a license. A single ride on one track costs Rs 50, while ride covering three tracks (means for longer time and distance) costs Rs 150.

Due to price factor, due to four-wheel license factor, and due to adventure factor there are few takers of this newly added attraction.

Also a track is too minor and easy to ride on, and one can complete it in few minutes without any challenge. Therefore the place doesn’t offer much.
