Former Congress MLA from Limbdi Shri Bhavan Bharwad today joined the BJP with his thousands of supporters formally at Gujarat BJP headquarter in Ahmedabad.

Shri Bharwad was elected as Congress MLA from Saurashtra’s Limbdi assembly seat. However he failed to defeat rival BJP candidate in 2007 Gujarat assembly general election. Bharwad had lost the poll by margin of 6,159 votes.

Bharwad said he has joined the BJP without any condition. He praised Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s development drive.

Along with Bharwad, Gujarati TV actress Bhavini Jani and Sikh leader Satpalsingh also joined the party in presence of party incharge of Ahmedabad Shri Kaushik Patel and former Rajya Sabha MP Shri Surendra Patel.
