Corrupt, rapists, scamster Congress will never be handed over Gujarat: This was a pledge administered by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi during a public felicitation function held in Balashinor.

Modi said Conrgess’s supremo Sonia Gandhi is entirely responsible for blocking Gujarat’s development and injustice to the state.

Modi was felicitated at Balashinor today for his announcement to make a new Mahisagar district from existing Panchmahal and Kheda districts.

Modi said Soniaben reads a speech prepared by Congress party, but she doesn’t do any kind of homework while doing so. Gujarat is a state that fights for Sardar Patel’s truth and rights. Soniaben’s falsehoods are considered as big zero by six crore Gujaratis.

Modi said Sonia started year 2007 campaign of Gujarat assembly polls from Chhota Udepur by addressing a rally of tribal people, but people of Gujarat finished the party there, and so Soniaben went to Rajkot this time, but it will not make any difference to their existing poor situation, in fact the situation will go worse for them.

Modi said Soniaji should do proper lesson and should not give advises. She said that Gujarat should follow the Congress ruled states and give three more cylinders at subsidized rates. But None of the Congress govt has given gas cylinders at subsidized rate so far – even after a month of such announcement. Does Sonia understand mentality of gas companies towards consumers?

While Sonia is counting gas bottles, the Gujarat BJP government has spent Rs 10,000 crore to lay down 2200 km gas pipe line and has managed to supply cooking gas to seven lakh houses in 300 villages and cities. This action has saved crores of rupees of gas bottles at central govt end. But Congress gave a political thought to this development and two years back Soniaji’s Congress government ordered Gujarat from the throne of Delhi that the subject of gas pipeline is in centre’s domain and therefore Gujarat has no right to lay gas pipeline. Such anti-Gujarat injustice of centre has been challenged in the Supreme Court by Gujarat. We want to give gas through pipeline to two million houses, even pipes are ready, and we will fight for justice and deliver the gas to the women in their home.

Congress has cheated the people. For last 8 years, there’s no good news from centre, and we keep listening the news on corruption, jail, rape etc. People of Gujarat will give fitting reply to Congress’s conspiracies against Gujarat and its development in the election.

Modi said he has no daughter or son in law and six crore Gujaratis is his family that he wants to serve. Modi said Congress can’t tolerate this fact and spread lies on daily basis.

He said Mahi river was existing even before he became Chief Minister but none in Congress thought to conserve surplus Mahi water. It was our government that constructed Sujlam Suflam scheme and extended canal upto Banas river to recharge the water level.

Modi also explained how his govt approved Rs 50 crore to facilitate Balashinor taluka with Sujlam Suflam water.
