On an average around 70.20% turnout in second phase

According to Chief Electoral Officer, Gujarat, Smt Anita Karwal, Gujarat has witnessed around 70.20% average turnout today.
According to Karwal Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar and Panchmahal districts have witnessed around 72% voting while lowest 64.5% voting has been witnessed in Kutch district.

Smt Karwal said barring the incident of stone pelting and firing in response in Tarasang village of Shehra taluka in Panchmahal district, the election has been peaceful.
She said out of 23,318 electronic voting machines, 0.02% faced technical problem.
