Nadiad’s Sant Ram mandir celebrated 182nd Samadhi mahotsav today on the occassion of Maha Sud Purnima. As per the anual custom, Maha Aarti was performed at Sant Ram maharaj’s samadhi. Then after mandir’s mahant Shri Ram Das Maharaj performed Sakar varsha ritual amid slogans of ‘Jay Maharaj’. The day at mandir started with Tilak darshan, Jaali darshan, Pad gaan and Gaadi darshan. Around 3600 Kg sakar and 1200 Kg coconut prashad was used during the day. Thousands of people gathered here not only enjoyed the custom of Sakarvarsha but also enjoyed a big fair that has been organized outside for three days.
