Mehsana gets city bus service

Mehsana has witnessed restart of local city bus. Local MLA and senior Minister Nitin Patel flagged off the service which was not functional for last over one year.
Addressing the people, Shri Pael said that to ensure sufficient water supply, three tube-wells are given permission at a cost of Rs 50 lakh on urgent basis. The govt has planned Rs 50 crore works to supply Narmada water to city’s east side areas.
Patel said three new Town Planning (TP) schemes will be implemented in eastern side of the city. He announced allotment of Rs 10 crore to local Municipality for development works.
According to the minister, ten dialysis machines are allotted to civil hospital. A separate ward will be build and dialysis centre will be made operational there.
Nitin Patel reacted positively to proposal of building a ring road around Mehsana.
