Uttarakhand tragedy:Commendable service by Gayatri Parivar

Gujarat Government has started its help camp in Uttarakhand at Shantikunj ashram of Gayatri Parivar. Similarly Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh governments also have started their help camp at Shantikunj.
Gayatri Parivar has halted its nine-day sessions and educational activities in Shantikunj campus for some time to make a way for shelter and meal arrangements, suitable to serve as many as 20,000 persons.
Dr. Bhikhubhai Patel has reached Shantikunj with a medical team and sufficient stock of medicines from Ahmedabad to offer service to calamity-hit people.
Shantikunj, Haridwar has so far distributed around 20,000 food packets through army choppers in calamity-hit areas of Uttarakhand. Volunteers of Gayatri Parivar are continuously offering their services in disaster-hit pockets.
