‘Congress mukt Gujarat’ mission continuing, the latest is Kutch

Assembly elections are over last year, but ‘Congress mukt Gujarat’ mission of BJP is just going on.
After recent news of BJP managing split in Dahod Congress, here’s another development. 20 out of total 22 Congress Councillors of Bhachau municipality in Kutch on Monday faxed their resignations to state party president.
Kutch district has total six municipalities, and only one is ruled by Congress.
The elections of 22 seats of Bhachau municipality were held in February this year.
According to Bhachau municipality president Virendrasinh Jadeja and executive chairman Harisinh Dipubha Jadeja, lack of permanent Chief officer and proper grant was responsible for their decision.
Those who resigned include Virendrasinh Bahadursinh Jadeja(president), Prabhulal Amrutlal Thakkar(vice president), Harisinh Dipubha Jadeja(executive chairman), Prakash Sadmabhai Patel(streetlight chairman), Ashoksinh Narbhesinh Jhala, Rambhaben Dahyalal Prajapati, Sulekhaben Dawoodbhai, Adambhai Ghanchi, Ravjibhai Dafda,Thakarshibhai Darji and others.
In the elections of Bhachau municipality in February this year, Congress had got 22 seats while BJP won only 5 seats.
