Ban on gutkha in Gujarat extended for one more year

Gujarat Chief Minister has order extension of ban on gutkha in Gujarat for one more year.
Last year the ban was declared with an effect from 11 September 2012 for one year. Now the ban will be effective for one more year.
According to spokespersons of the state government, during last one year, 28172 different firms were searched. gutkha stock was found at 31 places. 8976 kg gutkha was seized.
