Feasibility report of Aji river front project in Rajkot in ten months

Rajkot Municipal Corporation(RMC) has appointed consultant to prepare feasibility report of proposed Aji riverfront development project.
The standing committee meeting of RMC this week assigned the task of preparing feasibility report and blue print of the project to HCP designer and management private limited at a cost of Rs. 2,46,50,000. This is same agency that also handles Ahmedabad and Vadodara(Vishwamitri river) river front projects.
Consulting agency will hand over its report to RMC in ten months. Estimated cost of the first phase of Aji River front project is Rs. 200 crore.
Aji riverfront project involves construction of 11 km long wall on both sides of river Aaji. RMC’s Town planning department has started demarcating the wall.
