PM office staff gives standing ovation to Manmohan Singh(video)

Around 110 staff of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) gathered at South Block today gave a standing ovation to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during a farewell they hosted for him.The staff presented him with a bouquet. Manmohan Singh has been PM for last one decade. Some of the staff who have interacted with the prime minister during the 10 years of United Progressive Alliance (UPA) rule were seen wiping away their tears. National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon, Principal Secretary Pulok Chatterjee, Prime Minister’s Advisor T.K.A. Nair, Media Advisor Pankaj Pachauri, some TV cameras and news photographers were present on the occasion.
Manmohan Singh will give a farewell address to the nation May 17 afternoon after he submits his resignation to President Pranab Mukherjee. Before resignation PM will attend his last cabinet meeting.
