Gujarat Congress to hold two days Chintan Shibir this weekend(videos)

Gujarat Congress will hold two days brainstorming meet (Chintan Shibir) in Ahmdabad on 28-29 June, 2014.
As many as 375 delegates from across Gujarat including party MLAs, Lok Sabha candidates, city/district Congress chiefs etc will attend this shibir.
Former chief of Seva Dal Manubhai Motibhai Patel will deliver keynote address on first day of shibir. Congress party’s General Secretary Gurudas Kamat will attend the meeting and provide guidance.
Based on geographical representation, the delegates attending the meeting will be divided in six divisions. In each division, three party leaders will play a role for coordination. Based on inputs received on first day, and detailed discussion on second day, a declaration will be finalized at the end of second day of Chintan Shibir.
Speaking to media persons today Gujarat Congress president Shri Arjun Modhwadia said Lok Sabha election results were against party’s expectation. Party men and leaders h worked hard, but were not successful in taking the details of the works done by the Congress government to people. The two days shibir will discuss all aspects with an aim to make Congress party’s organization more effective again in Gujarat. Shortcomings of organization, better connect to people, booth committees, training to Congress cadre, membership drive etc issues will be discussed with open mind to make party organization stronger in upcoming days, the party said while sharing the details of Shibir.
