Replying to media’s question on Love Jihad during an event in Amreli town in Gujarat, Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Dr. Pravin Togadia on Saturday put question mark over so called love marriages of Muslim boys with Hindu girls.

Togadia in response to a question on Love Jihad by media persons said, “have you ever heard that a Muslim boy converted to Hindu faith due to love affair with a Hindu girl?”

“If there’s true love actually as it’s claimed, why there’s no case where a Muslim boy converted to Hindu faith to marry a Hindu girl?” Togadia continued.

He said, “then if there’s love, why Hindu girls are asked to covert to Islam before/after marriage with Muslim boy?”

Togadia said a Hindu girl needs to be told not to go out with Muslim boys, or otherwise she may end up becoming fourth wife of Muslim boy.

Togadia favored entry only through identity cards at Garba events to disallow Muslims to enter inside.
