Chinese President, Indian PM to watch glimpses of Gujarat’s traditional dances, 3 MoUs to be signed(videos)

Chinese President Xi Jinping will be welcomed at Sardar Patel airport in Gujarat on 17 September through Gujarat’s traditional art and traditional dances. Chinese President will be given Guard of Honor. Gujarat Governor, Chief Minister and all members of state cabinet will be on Sardar Patel airport to welcome President Xi Jinping in the afternoon on 17 September.

These details were shared by Gujarat government’s spokesperson ministers Nitin Patel and Saurabh Patel at a press conference held at the Sabarmati riverfront.

They said the Chinese president will come to the airport and straight away reach Hyatt hotel in Vastrapur where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will welcome Chinese President and his delegation.After a formal meeting between Modi and Jinping, a meeting will be held between delegations of both countries in presence of Modi and Jinping in which three MoUs will be signed. The details of the MoUs:

Sister province state relation between Guangdong and Gujarat state.
Sister city relation between Guangzhou and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation
MoU in industrial sector between China Development Bank Corporation and Indext-B

Gujarat government spokesperson ministers further said that Chinese president will visit world famous Gandhi ashram during his short stay in city at 5.00 pm where Prime Minister and Chief Minister will welcome him.

Chinese President will also visit Sabarmati riverfront at 5.45 pm where he will watch Gujarat’s traditional Ras Garba dance and also had taste of Gujarati food. Prime Minister, Chief Minister and state cabinet ministers will join the function.

Panchal region’s famous Hudo dance, Saurashtra’s Mer dance, Rathwa dance, mix ras, traditional garbo with mandvdi on head and Dangi dance will be performed before the Chinese President.

President Jinping and his delegation members will leave the city at 7.30 PM. later Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also leave for Delhi.
