Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday wished Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel “good health and a long life” on her 73rd birthday.
“Warm birthday wishes to Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel. May Almighty bless her with good health and a long life,” Modi posted on his personal twitter account.
Patel succeeded Modi and became Gujarat’s first woman chief minister in May.
She was born in 1941 in north Gujarat’s Kharod village.

On her birthday, state Information department presented Anandiben two books featuring her achievements. The name of the books are; Satatya and Nishkarsh.
Wipro Chairman Azim Premji called on Gujarat Chief Minister and wished her on birthday.
During visit to Wastech exhibition today, at one of the stalls Anandiben was offered birthday cake to cut.
