With a bottle in hand, sport shoes under lehenga and a punk attitude, this goggle clad girl is definitely not the quintessential bride we hear. Dolly urf Sonam Kapoor is choosing a groom in her forthcoming movie ‘Dolly ki Doli’ and for the same she comes straight till Ahmedabad to offer a flower-flown invitation.

‘Miss Chic’ –this is what Sonam can be better termed as. Let’s see what she feels about the same ‘From their character to the how they carry themselves; it is truly essential for girls to feel confident about whatever they are. And I really feel responsible when I see juvenile blood having soft corner for my fashion trends. I just have a simple funda – Dress to express!’

To be a con bride puts an actress to test and to grab the nerves of ‘Dolly’s character, Sonam carried out her learning by attending worship along with her co-stars Pulkit Samrat, Rajkumar Rao and Varun Sharma.

‘Working with young actors was indeed enriching. Varun, Punit and Rajkumar all have a learning eye which I guess is a keen point. Yeah! Initially Varun was nervous working with me but later we gelled up profoundly.’ Sonam exclaimed on asked about working with young faces.

Being known in the industry for her outspoken image Sonam points out, ‘I am 29 and I am not into concealing my age. I look less than my age as I guess I have genetically inherited it from my dad.’ Whether it is ‘Khoobsurat’ or ‘Delhi 6’, ‘Aisha’ or ‘Dolly ki Dolli’ …Sonam always blooms no matter what’s her age!

Music is a part and parcel of the movie and to which Sonam said that her movie’s have the icing of jolly songs. ‘Engine ki setti’, ‘Masakaali’ , ‘Abhi to party ..’ , or the recent ‘Babaji ka Thullu’ , Sonam makes sure that she is offered with ear catching songs for her movies.

Arbaz khan’s previous block busters like ‘Dabangg’ series cannot be compared with ‘Dolly ki Doli’ as they have an unequal base considering parameters of budget, caste or crew. Working with Arbaz was an opportunity in itself. He is more of a friend now!’ speaks Sonam about her producer Arbaz Khan.

Presently when movies are doing bang-bang at the box-office Sonam puts forwards her expectations for her movie saying ‘Straight away, I don’t expect my movie to catch 300 crores! I consider a movie hit when it covers its cost and earns above it. I wish the same for my forthcoming movie.’

When asked about her valentine day’s plan she pointed to her calendar saying ‘Ahh! I have my shooting for one of the forthcoming movie at Gondal in Gujarat. So, it’s just my work and me this time!’

‘Dolly Ki Doli’, let’s wait till 23rd January to watch it on the big screen!
