Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel today expressed a confidence that partnership with foreign companies in developing infrastructural facilities will fulfill “Make in India’ dream. Mrs. Patel was speaking at a function held after laying a foundation stone for the manufacturing plants of world motor giant, Maruti Suzuki Motors being set up at Hansalpur near Bechraji.

In this reference, the Chief Minister further stated that the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat had developed world level infrastructure, made available waters, electricity, roads, rural development as a result the foreign companies are getting attracted towards Gujarat to set up their industries here.

The successful organizing of series of as many as 7 (seven) Vibrant Gujarat Global Summits have had showcased the Gujarat Best Bait for setting up industries before the world; and partnership with industrially developed country like Japan in that mega events was the result of pro-active good governance of the Gujarat Government, she said.

The Chief Minister said the BJP government in its last 14 years’ ruling had made vast industrial developments in the state and as an outcome of that we have provided lots of employment opportunities for the people.

Mrs. Patel further stated that then Chief Minister Mr. Modi had chalked out a strong plan for three key sectors – agriculture, animal husbandry and service sector—for all round development of the state. Mr. Modi had attained the success of all-round developments in the state through setting up special investment regions, krushi melas (Agriculture Fairs), scientific approach in agriculture, animal husbandry and others.

With a view to provide a skilled-work-force to the arriving industries, the Gujarat Government has started to set up ITI and skilled development centers in the proximity of these industries, Mrs. Patel said and added that thus, this way the state government is providing lots of employment opportunities to the people.

The Chief Minister had also appealed to the youths to take the advantage of these industries in getting employments. The world level competitiveness among these industries will ultimately secure a ‘Quality Assurance’ in their products and will provide a scope of wide range of choices to the customers, she said.
