Gujarat seeks 6 coal mines from centre, 4 of them in Chhattisgarh

Gujarat government has demanded six coal mines from the center for sufficient coal supply to power stations in Gujarat.
State Energy Minister Saurabh Patel shared this detail today in Gujarat Assembly.
He added that four out of six coal mines that Gujarat government has demanded are located at closer distance in Chhattisgarh.
Saurabh Patel expressed confidence that central government will accept the demand made by Gujarat government and allocate coal mines.
He gave a hint hint that even before the end of ongoing Gujarat Assembly Budget session, the approval of centre will arrive in this regard.
