World Bank chief hails Modi, says world needs ‘more leaders like you’

World Bank President Jim Yong Kim has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completion of one year of “visionary steps towards ending poverty” and said the world needs “more leaders like you”.
“Congratulations, @narendramodi, on one year of visionary steps toward ending poverty in #India. The world needs more leaders like you,” the World Bank chief tweeted.
Modi thanked him for the message.
“@JimKim_WBG Thank you so much! All of us have to work together to make our world a better place & particularly to end the menace of poverty,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
