Mohan Bhagwat to be presented Bhagwad Gita in golden ink at Surat

RSS chief Shri Mohan Bhagwat is likely to visit the city of Surat in south Gujarat on August 16.
He will be receiving Bhagwad Gita written in golden fonts in a function organized by Shubhmangal foundation here.
On the occasion of Jain monk Gachchadhipati Vijay Abhaydev Surishwarji Maharaj’s chaturmas(a four-month monsoon period during which Jain monks halt at one place), Bhagwad Gita has been written using golden ink. At 9.30 am on August 16 in presence of Vijay Abhaydev Surishwarji Maharaj this Gita book will be presented to RSS sar sangh chalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat.
It should be mentioned here that 75-year-old Muslim person fro Surendranagar Yunus Sheikh has written this Gita after his 30 days long efforts. He has written 745 shlokas using golden ink. The book has total 168 pages. It will survive for at least 500 years. The book has been created without any use of chemicals. It has been made using special type of paper. After using 24 carat golden ink, the pages were polished by Akik stone to give it shinning look. 16 leading saints will attend its dedication event in presence of 5,000 people.
