PM to skip voting, Advani, Shah may cast vote in Ahmedabad

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for Malaysia and Singapore visit, he would not cast his vote in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation election, polling for which is going to take place this Sunday. Shri Modi is registered as voter in Ranip area of Ahmedabad.
Other VIPs who are registered as voter in Ahmedabad include former Deputy Prime Minister Shri LK Advani, national president of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) Shri Amit Shah, Union Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley, Chief Minister Anandiben Patel.
It is believed that Shri Advani, Amit Shah and Anandiben will cast their vote, but there’s no clarity about Shri Jaitley’s arrival.
From Congress’s side, Rajya Sabha MP and political secretary of Congress president smt Sonia Gandhi, Shri Ahmed Patel is likely to cast his vote in Bharuch district.
